Living in downtown Aspen, Galen walks to the gondola for “first tracks” on powder days.  Known as an expert skier and mountain biker, Galen also enjoys backcountry hikes with his wife, Lucy Tremols.  Together, they support many local non-profits and the arts, especially ACES, JAS and ASFB.  When they have time to get away, Galen and Lucy seek out adventurous foreign travel or kite-boarding trips.  Galen is always happy to return home, knowing there is no better place to live than Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley, surrounded by the mountains he loves.

Upon completing his BA in Business/Marketing at Colorado State University, Galen Bright moved to Aspen in 1987 to own and manage Aspen Luggage Company – a vertically integrated retail venture – until successfully selling the business to launch his real estate brokerage career.  During high school and college Galen worked as a carpenter, building homes, where he gained a useful understanding of real property ownership.  As a fourth-generation Coloradan, Galen began skiing at age 4, displaying immediate talent and passion for the sport.  This love of skiing has evolved into Galen’s endless enthusiasm for all aspects of the Aspen life-style and the amazing real estate opportunities that exist here.
